Dubai's data intelligence startup is gearing up for taking over MENA, step by step, with Saudi Arabia as their prey.
Exactly $1.1 million, were recently secured in a pre-series by Dubai's Crowd Analyzer, a platform specialising in Arabic social media and monitoring, it also doubles as a data intelligence provider. The substantial edition to Crowd Analyzer’s credit is courtesy of multiple venture capital firms from across the MENA region. Led by Wamda Capital, investors include Saudi Arabia’s Raed VC, and Kuwait’s Arzan Capital and Faith Capital. Crowd analyzer plans to put the hefty investment to good use, planning to delve deeper into the MENA region, setting their sights on Saudi Arabia.
“For three years, Crowd Analyzer has delivered actionable intelligence and data enabling world-class companies in the region to harness the power of social media,” says Ahmed Saad, CEO and co-founder of Crowd Analyzer elaborates. "As the only Arabic-focused social media monitoring platform, we offer our clients invaluable data that incorporates regional dialects, relevance and of course sentiment analysis. This latest round of funding will enable us to continue our growth in Saudi Arabia and allow us to explore further opportunities in the regional market.”
With Proprietary Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing on their side, the startup has a 90 percent accuracy rate to uphold. “Our use of AI and Machine Learning enables us to better monitor social media and mine data, providing brands and organizations with the most up-to-date and relevant insights,” says CTO and Co-Founder of Crowd Analyzer, Bahaa Galal.
With a modest goal, Crowd Analyzer merely aims to "revolutionise" the Social Media Marketing industry with its algorithms. Having been up and running since 2013, making a grand entrance into the market commercially only three years later, Crowd Analyzer's teach record is rather impressive having an extensive portfolio spanning over 10 different Arab countries. The startup offers multiple services; from PR mapping to influencer analysis, including comparisons to competitors, and brand health audits.
